SUNDAY
woke up in the morning and i was feeling quite alright la...had been sick for like the past week and a half...so yea...thankfully i was healed on church camp day...so i could enjoy it...honestly i wasnt expecting much...cos like b4 the camp alot of stuff happened and sum of my expectations were lost..at least for the first few days...so yea...morning sermon...was the first in a series of 6...yea..quite good la...yea..den me,jk,don,joel lee(jl from now onwards),marwin,cleff and jeriel went to eat lunch b4 most of us left for camp..sadly cleffy and jeriel couldnt come..so yea..took the coach..we were in bus 2...sat right at the back...freakin bumpy la...cannot even sleep during the ride...and jl kept on falling on me...grr..lol...and the small kids were making loads of noise..so i jus listened to my mp3..yea...we reached dere around 7 plus almost 8 i think...den had to wait for our keys...den after they gave like almost everyone their key...they told me and jk dat nun had collected the key already..grrr!..so yea..we were waiting for nth...when we went up..nun wasnt in the room..lights and all were on..but he wasnt there..so we waited for him..he came shortly la..so yea..we jus slacked there...amazingly some cars came later den the buses..so yea..den we walk around...room was of reasonable size la...the extra mattress was on the floor..i though it would be uncomfortable..so i opted to sleep on it on the 3rd night...since we had to take turns...yup..well nth much on this night la..played taiti abit here and dere..and we found out that Tiara BEACH resort..din have a BEACH!!!...it was a freakin fake swimming pool..dat looked like a freakin ARTIFICIAL BEACH!! grrr...so yea our beach soccer plans were shelved for the time being..we slept around 12 plus...honestly i din sleep well..wasnt used to the bed i guess...woke up every 1 hour...was damn restless and was thinking about too many things..
MONDAY
ok so monday it was...woke up not really early la..i think 6 plus..nun had worship prac so he ciao..den i took a bath..toilet is EXTREMELY SMALL!!..grr..when u are bathing you can barely move one step to your left...yea..went down for breakfast..had our first taste of the shitty food...no pancakes!!! as nun said..hahas...its essential for breakfast dammit..lol..and the cereal bowl was super small..haf to take a few rounds..hahas..but we din wanna whine..cos we were there for god..at least i was...first sermon was kinda foundational la..setting the pace so called...nonetheless it was good..impacting..so at around 1..we went for lunch...we thought perhaps it would be bttr..but we were introduced to the merry go round(nun's name for it) queue..where u can cut anywhere and everywhere..cos the was no starting point to the queue..food crappy too..and the only drinks we had were water, disgusting rose syrup and diluted bandung...i am complaining alot rite..hahas..no la..the good part coming soon la..last few days..den we had free time in the afternoon..we decided to go for a swim..cos that was like the ONLY thing we could do there...swimming was fun la..most of the youth were there...guys and girls...we went from adult pool which was too shallow..to the children's pool where the slides were fun..to the volleyball pool..where you could play volleyball..in the water la....den to the volleyball court on ground..there i cut my hand..and it still hurts up to now..in the water we kept on doing wrestling moves to jl...3D being the most common..hahas..fun la..really enjoyable fellowship among the youths..yup..not to mention terence was around...and his fellow broader community(FAT PPL) member marwin was discovered to be an ultimate eat and sleep FREAK!... yea..honestly we discovered his abilities over the days...night sermon was good as well..really enjoyed the sermons..that night we din do much also la..played taiti alot..jl and company which includes josh,marwin and don..came to our room and messed it up..yar..jl rolling all over the place...i slept on the bed again..first night jk was on the floor mattress..this night it was nun..next night was gonna be my turn..i was dreading it...oh ya..this was the night..we started planning our skit for the BBQ nite..came up with sum hilarious re-enactment of pastor's story..i was in charge to organise the whole thing..jeanette did the most work thought..came up with the skript and all..more on this on wed...so yea..sleep wise..today was bttr i only woke up once in 3 hours...slept around 1 plus..yea..
TUESDAY
tired of reading already?..hahas persevere..got until thurs...once again woke up in the morning blah blah..and all..did dis and dat...ate crappy breakfast..this was the day i thought was gonna be the best..but well it jus got bttr and bttr next few days..cos of certain reasons..not mentionable..lol..kk anyway..morning no sermon..had the total health council thingy for youth...was alrite la..i am well balanced in terms of physical development..besides me being kinda skinny la..sorry man its in the genes..in terms of relations with frens..it was very good also..and spiritually it was great..but the relationship in terms of parents was pathetic..yea..i guess i got to work on dat la..ill try la..so yea..with the extra time that we had..we started practising the skit..it wasnt promising at all honestly..i am not really a good actor..and i was in the leading role la..acting as pastor..so yea..kinda hard for me..but it got bttr...yea..so lunch the usual crap...den it was the GRACE RACE!..hahas..i had quite high expectations for this ....we had many ppl missing from our group so called..but we made do la..i mean with me in the team hard to lose right..(LOL..kidding la..)..so yea there were 5 games..first one was finding the pebbles...my team won that one..with abit of cheating..but in all honesty.. ALL the groups i repeat ALL the groups were cheating...so yea..hahas..next game..was walking on water...dat one was like a relay la..kinda fun..we got second la..we were like humping tyres so yea...hahahahas...okok..enough..third game was raft building..i kinda din do much for this one..cos i am not exactly the best perosn for it la..anyway we won again..so we were in a good position la so called...fourth game..saving lives..we got last..hahas...foo meng lost steam after a while..so yea..dun blame him though..we was doing a terrific job for the other games...last game which was kinda sick was the human pyramid..terence did a great job of coordinating it..it was sick becos..an unknown person groped my butt..lol...and there was sumone sitting on me..so yea..sick..we were a close second in this one..so we din know the results yet..but i tell la..we won!...hahahas...okok..and well it was after the grace race that my camp really got bttr...my attitude kinda changed...dinner was needless to say..CRAP...fellowship with the millions of flies...jl quite good at catching flies in glasses though....night service..was good..had alter call for the youths..yea..ok la..dun wanna say much about it..that night..we went to eat fries..finished up the script for the skit..we were fellowshiping till about 1 plus..den we went to my room..jl and gang were there...played taiti awhile..den we went to sleep..this night i was on the floor..and amazingly i slept the best this night..dunno y la..hahas..
WEDNESDAY
rite..this was by far my best day in camp..and i believe the best for most of the youth if not all..woke and and all..you know wad la..same stuff...breakfast..crappy as usual..den went for service..was very long..but...very good..thouroughly enjoyed it..had cell sharing and all..den played with small benjamin..so adorable..and constance..another adorable one...so sad i dun haf a younger brother or sister like dat..dunno if it will be a good or a bad thing..hahas..so yea..den went to my room with my cell..slacked dere..waiting for the food to be brought back..played taiti..den halfway..they came to clean the room..so went to petrina's room...and i managed to get a bed for myself..hahas..thanks to their graciousness...lol...but just as i was gonna sleep..the food came..grrr!...so yea..had to eat with my hands..due to the lack of forks and spoons..but i dun mind..hahas..its a habit of mine..after that we had our final skit practice..it was looking good la..i was kinda getting the hang of it..and it was truely hilarious..so with the remaining time..we guys decided to go play soccer..beach soccer at the volleyball court there..was kinda fun..but kenna abrasion..grr..pain!..den most of the jumped into the water..with their shirts and all..i din..cos i din wanna wet my nike shirt...new one..lol...so jus sat at the edge..and sum of the girls were there also..so went back den..changed..went for BBQ nite..i was expecting good food..BUT..all we got was uncooked and oily food..only the satay was nice..but sum of it was uncooked also...we watched all the cell items...agapeland's one was cute..hahas..den came ours..and we nailed it..ahhas..everyone loved it..i daresay it was the best item..but no prizes so yea..hahas..but fun la..damn fun!..den we got durians as the prize for winning grace race..and SADLY i do not eat durians..HAIZZZ..so after BBQ dinner..we realised dat they were showing..Star Wars II..Attack of the Clones..so we stood dere to watch..den we realised we could watch from upstairs..so went to petrina's room and watched it..hahas nice show la..only dat anakin and obi wan..look kinda small...compared to episode 3 la..but yoda is as cute as ever... den we went down to eat durians..i watched..lol..yea..well i dun intend to eat la..unless a situation arises..yea..den samuel and reuben came later..no more durian le..so they went to get more..and the guy joined dem to eat more..i sian le..so i was walking around..with some ppl...den went up to my room..played taiti..did stuff and all...abit messy here..so no details..yea..den we din want to sleep la..but in the end gave in..slept around 2 plus..i dunno?..yea..on the bed again..yay!..hahas..
THURSDAY
ok i know your eyes all pain le..trust me my finger all pain also..but i shall finish it..today was nice in sum aspects la..woke up..had to pack up and check out b4 breakfast..ended up not going for breakfast..went straight for service...was good as usual...den we had the testimony time..nun's testimony was damn funny..he arh..lol.nth to say la..the pakistani pizza boy..btw in was my idea to merge dem both..LOL..kk enough of my pride..so yea..testimonies were good really touching la...den we were like late going to eat and all..in the end i din eat..dis part was nice..hee..lol.okok..later ppl ask me y...so yea..got my bags..got on the bus..and off we went..long bumpy ride again..but this time i was so tired..i could sleep..with music blasting in my ears...yea..stopped to eat dinner..food was good la..place was nice too...den we chiong home la..yea..all the way back my mind was so occupied by 'sumthing'...yea i am so glad its back..yup..loved this camp..bttr food and a real beach would have made it perfect!
